I’m Here to Help You and Your Body Reconnect through Body Mind Pilates

pilates-pictures-bodywise-philosophyHi, I’m Deb Iole. In the years that I’ve been teaching the Pilates method, I’ve found a common thread in my students. They want to become fit, but most of them start off not recognizing the mindbody connection.

Pilates workouts are not only core strengthening programs. It is a way to connect with your authentic self. In doing so, you will live the healthy and mindful life you may not even realize you were missing!

I’m using the Pilates method as a bodywork modality of movement therapy. My 7 Principles of Movement are what  lead you to your mindbody connection.

Body Energetics that connect Alignment, Attitude, Discipline, Perseverance, Skill, Technique, and Creativity are all intrinsic elements of my mindbody Pilates training and teaching.

Alignment

Alignment is established when the principles of movement, thought, energy, and action intersect.

Attitude

Fifty percent of our strength comes from knowing and believing that we are strong.

My clients learn to feel intimately connected to their bodies by developing the skills to achieve their desired outcome.

Attitude is the most critical element to their success.

Discipline

One foot in front of the other. Again, again, and again—until we have walked the distance. We then look up and realize, we have made the journey.

Skill

The ability that comes from the focused use of knowledge, aptitude, and practice.

Perseverance

Technique

The ability to fully express the whole of the matter.

Creativity

All of these mindbody principles enable you to deeply communicate to the world who you are and how you want to walk though this life.
